La Purisima Church was established as a parish in 1964, having been a mission for some decades before then. We feel that the people of this parish are a genuine, caring, Christian community, dedicated to serving God and His people.

Our parish is located in a neighborhood setting in east Orange, just north of Chapman Avenue, and east of the 55 freeway, on the northeast corner of Spring & Hewes.
We are a multicultural community, with a multi-cultural Faith Formation program (English, Spanish and Vietnamese) and a wonderful Catholic School, with grades from pre-school to 8th grade.
If you have recently started attending our Church, we extend a special welcome to you as you join our parish family.
