Thank you for visiting our Web Site. Our parish is located in a quiet neighborhood in east Orange, just north of Chapman Avenue, and east of the 55 freeway, on the northeast corner of Spring & Hewes.

We are a multicultural community,  with a Faith Formation program in three languages (English, Spanish and Vietnamese) and a wonderful Catholic School, with grades from pre-school to 8th grade.

If you have recently started attending our Church, we extend a special welcome to you as you join our parish family. 

La Purisima Church was established as a parish in 1964, having been a mission for some decades before then. We feel that the people of this parish are a genuine, caring, Christian community, spiritually alive, and dedicated to serving God and His people. You will find caring priests and a dedicated staff ready to do their best to meet your needs, along with countless volunteers who are actively involved, giving generously of their time and talent for the good of the parish and the broader community.
